What’s inside.

The manufacturer describes a topical magnesium chloride solution sourced from the Zechstein deposit. “Oil” describes its feel; this is not a dietary oil.

How to use it.

For external use only. Follow the current package instructions and avoid eyes, mucous membranes and broken, irritated or recently shaved skin.

Before you choose

Stop use if irritation occurs. Do not swallow. This guide does not recommend topical magnesium to treat magnesium deficiency.

What the evidence can—and can’t—say.

Evidence for transdermal magnesium absorption and health outcomes is limited. Oral magnesium studies cannot be used as proof that this spray treats sleep problems, cramps or deficiency. A 2017 review found transdermal claims insufficiently supported.

Does research on magnesium capsules prove this spray works?
