Who Owns Vital Health? Meet the Four Founders

When I evaluate a company, the first question I ask is who owns it and what are they building toward. The founders of a company tell you more about its future than any pitch deck or projected revenue chart.

Dr. Tony Rodriguez — CEO and Founder

Dr. Tony Rodriguez built Vital Health after losing his parents. That is not a marketing line — that is a mission. When someone builds from a place like that, the company they create is fundamentally different from one built for profit or exit. Tony has been in the health and wellness space for decades and understood what was broken in the supplement industry before Vital Health existed.

Alex Reynoso — Co-Founder

Alex Reynoso is the person who built the manufacturing operation in Hermosillo in 2019 — before there was a public-facing company. He built the infrastructure first. That is the correct order and almost no company in this space does it that way. Alex understood that the field cannot be protected by a company that does not control its own supply chain.

Alberto and Gustavo Barreda — Co-Founders

Alberto and Gustavo Barreda round out the founding team. Together, the four founders bring field experience and operational experience. They understand what it costs to build in the direct sales field because they have done it.

What I Saw in Hermosillo

I flew to Hermosillo and met these four people in person before I put my name on anything. I asked the hard questions. I looked at how they talked to their team, how they answered uncomfortable questions, and whether what they said in the presentation matched what I saw in the building.

What I found was alignment. Between what they said and what they built. That is not common. And it is the reason I am here.
